Adding a commit-offsets function to clientkafka names the new API, but the subject does not say what the function does for callers — offsets can be read, set, or batched — and the body never elaborates, offering only the sentence This commit closes issue #9258. That reference is legible but is not explanation. A new public API surface deserves a line on its purpose; the diff must supply it here. feat(microservices) is accurate. No footers appear as such. Hygiene is otherwise clean, but the message is thinner than the feature warrants.
