The subject "update events" is too thin to be useful — updating what, from where? The body compensates by explaining the regeneration: "Generated `events.json` with the latest events retrieved from the Firebase DB," which at least establishes provenance for the data change. This is the classic profile of a scheduled data refresh, and such commits benefit enormously from a scope (the repo's `aio` website) or a more descriptive subject like "refresh events.json from firebase." Type and structure are correct, but as history this commit will be nearly unfindable once the context fades.
